Join a dynamic Counselor Education Program that prepare school counselors to serve in remote, rural communities in Montana. The Counselor Education faculty position is tenure-track. The successful candidate will continue the tradition of strong partnerships with school districts and collaborations with regional cooperative education services. Assignments include teaching graduate level counseling courses in both school and mental health counseling, and supervising interns in school related and mental health settings. The position requires licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of Montana. 

Requirements include: Earned doctorate (or ABD) in counselor education from a CACREP accredited program by date of appointment;
• Established professional identity as a professional school counselor educator through affiliation with relevant K-12 school counseling experience and counseling associations.
• Evidence of successful teaching and communication skills in counselor education;
• Experience providing supervision in practicums and internships;
• Licensure, or eligibility for licensure, as a professional counselor in the State of Montana. If not currently licensed, candidates must describe in detail what steps will need to be taken to become licensed; and
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for the duration of employment without assistance from the institution.
