We are seeking a teaching faculty (non-tenure track) in the Graduate Public Health Program (MPH). The successful candidate will join a University-wide multidisciplinary team of public health faculty and be part of the Division of Health Services Policy and Practice (HSPP) in the Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health.
With a primary focus on teaching, this position will also make contributions to the scholarship and service missions of the school. This is a non-tenure track, calendar year (12-month) position, fully funded by New York State. This faculty will:
Carry a teaching load up to 12 credit hours per semester (equivalent of three 3-4 credit courses), depending on the amount of scholarship and service. Teaching assignments will include the fall, spring, and summer terms.
Serve as academic advisor and research mentor to MPH students, primarily in the Health Services Administration concentration.
Receive renewable, multi-year contracts.

A doctoral degree (PhD, MD, DDS, PharmD, etc.) in a public health discipline or a related field
A record of/potential for excellence in teaching at the graduate level
Masters in Public Health degree, in addition to a doctoral degree in a public health discipline or a related field
Experience in public health practice
Experience teaching public health and health services courses at the graduate level
