The University of Southern Maine is seeking applicants for an Assistant Director of Admissions.
The Assistant Director will have a focus on online education, and will educate prospective first-year students, adults, graduate students, high school students, school counselors, and parents/family members about USM and the overall college selection, application, and admissions process. A successful Assistant Director exhibits superior customer service skills and professionalism throughout daily interactions and communications with students including interviews, phone calls, emails and information sessions. The Assistant Director will have an emphasis on the recruitment of adult and online undergraduate students.

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited higher education institution.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
Minimum of 2 years related higher education experience.

Schedule & Location: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Nights and weekends as needed. This position will be based on our USM Gorham Campus (travel to other USM campuses in Portland and Lewiston-Auburn may be required, as well as some other in-state and out-of-state travel as necessary).
Pay & Benefits: Based on the qualifications and experience of the successful applicant, the annual salary is low to mid $40s.
