To provide a high level of front desk support for the Office of Enrollment & Student Services that advises all CONHI programs including Kinesiology, Public Health, RN-BSN, BSN, MSN- NP, Education, Administration, and DNP.
Provides a high level of front desk support. Answers receptionist phone queue while greeting all students and visitors to office. Directs students to appropriate advisor phone or email queues. Opens office on time each day, ready to assist students who need immediate assistance or need a walk-in advising appointment. Point of contact at front desk for all deliveries. Point of contact for students delivering completed forms, date/time stamping them and giving to appropriate advisor. Monitors CONHI email inbox and distributes emails to appropriate advising group. Distribute, sort, date stamp and handle confidential mail and faxes on a daily basis. Responsible for OESS outgoing mail being marked with cost center and taken to 6th floor outgoing mail tote. Trains new work study students and admission advisors on answering receptionist phone queue and duties when covering the front desk. Schedules conference/meeting rooms for faculty, staff, nursing groups (ANSA, NCC and CCNE) and other campus groups. Prints and distributes weekly meeting schedule for conference rooms (530, 549A, 549, 554 and 668). A point of contact to submit maintenance requests for CONHI (bathrooms needing maintenance, classrooms or office temperatures, elevator not working, etc.). Assists with new OESS staff by collecting completed emergency contact cards and delivering two Dean's office. Also makes sure new staff have office supplies at desk space. Directs students needing assistance in submitting RSVP's to attend commencement or claim tickets. Maintains list of students requesting a commencement program be mailed to them when they cannot attend. Department Safety Liaison (DSL) Volunteer representative for OESS. Attends various CONHI events and commencements to assist as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
High school diploma. Two (2) years of administrative, secretarial and clerical experience or the equivalent experience.
Associate's degree. Three (3) years of administrative, secretarial and clerical experience or the equivalent experience.
