Department Name: 8M600: Integrated Strategic Communication Job Summary: The Department of Integrated Strategic Communication in the College of Communication and Information at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level with an anticipated start date of August 2021. Qualifications/Responsibilities: The successful candidate initially would teach creative strategies, tactics, techniques, and visual communication to undergraduate ISC-major students. Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite programs is essential, and the ability to teach particular subjects, such as copywriting, art direction, design, digital storytelling, web design, content marketing, branding, digital publishing, also would be especially valued. As part of regular duties, the new faculty member would serve as an academic advisor to undergraduate ISC students and would participate in the department's governance and service. Graduate teaching opportunities may also be available for qualified applicants. ISC faculty are encouraged to propose and teach special-topics courses that take advantage of personal interests and experiences in the field.
