As part of the decision support team, this position will independently design, analyze, maintain, document, and test new and existing applications. The incumbent will work with process owners to develop workflow and implement in the case management system. The incumbent will conduct on-going analyses of database design, functionality and capability; recommend system enhancements. Applies skills as a seasoned, experienced software professional with a full understanding of industry practices, community standards and relevant policies and procedures to medium-sized projects or portions of large projects with moderate scope and complexity. Resolves a wide range of issues. Demonstrates competency in selecting tools, methods and techniques to obtain results.
Analyze, understand, and provide requested enhancements to existing ServiceNow applications.
Advanced scripting of business rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, etc.
Provide advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting, fixing bugs and conducting root cause analysis.
Facilitate and support the rollout of new applications and enhancements in ServiceNow.
Advise functional and administrative teams on design, development and overall ServiceNow best practices.
Work with functional and admin teams to deliver automated workflow solutions in ServiceNow.
Bachelor's Degree in related area; and/or equivalent experience/training.
Five (5+) or more years of relevant information systems experience, including at least 1.5 years of ServiceNow experience.
Proven experience with Single Sign-on using SAML 2.0 and Web Services integrations.
Advanced ServiceNow experience administering the platform, monitoring performance, deploying applications, building out catalog items/workflows, and configuring integrations.
Advanced knowledge of secure software development.
Highly advanced skills associated with software specification, design, modification, implementation and deployment of large-scale scope.
Demonstrated ability to understand functional needs and how systems can support those needs. Demonstrated ability to develop conversion and system implementation plans.
Advanced experience with identification and use of code libraries and open-source forums.
Advanced experience with planning for deployment and creation of feedback mechanisms.
Demonstrated software repository skills.
Experience developing and executing complex test plans.
