Educational Consultant

College MatchPoint is hiring college consultants to join our rapidly expanding team. As a consultant, you will guide a caseload of 40-60 students through the college planning and application process. You will join a team of intelligent, passionate, caring, relentless professionals who are deeply committed to helping students. We will provide you with all the tools you need to succeed, including administrative support, billing, a project management platform, and marketing. You will follow our proven model of success, which includes the most current technology tools combined with good old-fashioned client care. We are currently looking for full-time consultants and part-time consultants. We are open to consultants outside of Austin.

Job Responsibilities

• Coach 40-60 students through the college planning process using the College MatchPoint system

• Advise students on their high school academic and extracurricular choices

• Guide students through the college essay process

• Manage student deadlines throughout the college application process

• Attend professional development events to continuously increase your knowledge of the college planning process

• Write articles for the College MatchPoint newsletter and blog

• Represent College MatchPoint at conferences and community events

• Visit at least 25 colleges per year
