The Student Records Specialist ensures the quality of the college's enrollment processes and data in order to comply with federal and state regulations and policies, and supports the college's customer service and enrollment goals. The Student Records Specialist will review and process all requests from campuses for special exceptions to enrollment and grading policies; screen and process official requests for release of confidential student data; evaluate and award transfer credit from two-year and four-year colleges; and advanced standing credit for military experience, tests, and corporate training. This position will provide guidance and assistance to college administrators, teaching faculty, advisors and staff in order to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations as well as with Virginia Community College System (VCCS) and college enrollment policies.
