ASSISTANT DEAN FOR DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION , School of Science , to advise the dean and members of Science Council on matters related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), including defining strategic priorities and developing and implementing policies to advance the school's commitment to DEI. Will provide strategic leadership; assist the dean with crafting and presenting development opportunities to potential philanthropic/foundation/corporate partners; identify, implement, communicate, and help entrench best practices; conceive, develop, and oversee DEI programs/activities/initiatives to educate the community and increase diversity; gather and analyzed data and establish metrics; act as a resource to recruitment and pipeline-building programs; devote particular attention to the experiences of students; and handle a variety of other duties as directed.
