The Office of College Admission at Brown University is seeking SeasonalReaders for the 2020-2021 undergraduate admission application readingseason. This part-time, temporary position assists in the holistic review of first year applications for undergraduate education. Seasonalreaders will read undergraduate applications for admission, including the Common Application, Brown Supplement, teacher recommendations, transcript, school report, interview report, and other documents provided. They will complete written evaluations of each application. All reading and review is web based and completed remotely on a flexible schedule. SeasonalReaders are expected to commit 15-20 hours per week between mid December and mid March. Training will be provided in mid-December.
Bachelorâ™s degree required.
Familiarity with a liberal arts education and selective admissions is preferred.
Well developed computer skills and strong writing and analytical abilities are essential. We are looking for those who can read carefully and quickly.
Must possess a willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive campus community.
