Crossroads of Western Iowa is an industry leader for providing services to people with physical disabilities and mental health issues through residential home settings and community services. Crossroads has been in existence for 40 years providing support, care and helping people. As a non-profit we are mission driven to help the world one family or person at a time. This position requires a master’s degree or above with a current license in the State of Iowa or the ability to become licensed in the State by December 1st, 2020. Acceptable licensure is Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Practical Counselor or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. This position also requires being able to pass a background check. The therapist will work through telehealth until conditions allow for face to face visits. The therapist will work in a team setting with the daily staff. They will provide ongoing trainings, staff clients, work with clients for individual therapies and groups, work with families and parents and be a part of the intake team. Documentation of all services provided will be required as well as the development of treatment plans. This position will also help develop behavioral health services at Crossroads. This position requires working with a team.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients providing individuals, groups, and family therapy sessions. Have a passion for helping people, a creative thinker and believe in person centered treatment. Management experience is preferred but not necessary. Licensed Independent is also preferred by not necessary. Strong background in working with Substance Abuse and Mental Health is preferred.
Individual and group therapy

Prefer a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy Business, Healthcare, or related field but will consider a Bachelors in a social service field with current CADC certification or other certification that would allow them to provide Substance Use Disorder and/or Mental Health services in the State of Iowa.
Licensed in the State of Iowa or ability to be licensed in the State of Iowa by December 1st, 2020
