Provide high quality academic advice and counseling regarding coursework and professional career opportunities for students in the undergraduate biochemistry and forensic science degree programs. Participate in activities to foster recruiting and retention of students in biochemistry, forensic science, and the college to include the preparation of a yearly report to track the graduates from these programs.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in science, education, or social science field plus experience in student development, advising, and/or recruitment. Demonstrated experience advising diverse student backgrounds in order to apply inclusive advising strategies for all students. Demonstrated advising using student information systems and technology platforms. Ability to learn and stay current of complex academic requirements, policies, and procedures. Excellent interpersonal and oral skills, writing skills, organization/time management skills, and computer skills. Ability to work as an effective team member.
Two years related experience working in an education setting with students. Skill in using word processing, database, and presentation software.
Posted Salary: $39,000 minimum
