The project lead supports and manages the Technology Infrastructure relationships acting as a trusted advisor and thorough leader to grow the business relationship and Technology offering within Data Center Solutions. The Project Lead will ensure alignment between the account organization and other departments within DCS to maximize value creation and ensure excellence in project delivery by providing direction and oversight to enable business unit and account teams to positively contribute and comprehensively manage the fulfilment of our commitment to the client.
Throughout the development and execution of an Account Business Plan, the Project Lead will be responsible for profitable revenue growth and profit targets of the account portfolio as well as adding new clients. The project lead is required to develop senior level customer relations as part of developing strategic plans that ultimately improve the DCS business, utilizing the full breadth of Technology Infrastructure project and capabilities of DCS.
Strategic Planning & Value Creation:
Account & Project Growth
Acts as an expert in DCS business, culture and strategy by pro-actively contributing to the improvement of the DCS business.
Supports growth of DCS business through the development and execution of an ICT Business Plan/s
Represents DCS best interests externally and internally to GWS
Support strategy for current DCS client base where projects are being delivered outside of CBRE
Support growth of current DCS client base for Technology Infrastructure projects
Create individual strategies with industry manufacturers & distributors
Strategic interpreter of needs and identifier of new value-added services
Ensures the successful management of scope expansion & renewal activities
Establishes and executes resource & people strategy
Customer Relationship Management & Development:
Assists the contract relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and thought leader to grow the business relationship with the client
Demonstrates credibility and thought leadership, influencing business outcomes
Manages DCS wide client relationships at senior levels acting as an advisor to the DCS management team
Creates alignment between customer need & organizational delivery
Manages issue escalation and resolution
Direct support for the account leadership team and may have direct reporting as well as matrix reporting responsibilities

Direct technical support for the entire US Project Team, training and upskilling where required
P&L, Contract Management and Governance:
Assist financial performance of US TI Projects
Assists the resources to deliver the project, managing scope interpretation as required.
Leads the sponsorship essential to deliver the project, assisting to manage the scope interpretation as required
Ensures fulfilment of "promise" to customer - sets tone and culture for the way DCS delivers
Engages executive involvement as needed to leverage the broader DCS portfolio to introduce new scope & business pricing as part of delivering an integrated set of services
Ability to negotiate, administer contract and possess solid understanding of contractual terms and implications

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University in a technical area of study. Minimum six years of related experience and/or training.
Prior experience in a supervisory position (direct report responsibilities) required if specific duties include direct report responsibilities.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
PMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP preferred.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Knowledge in MS Project, leases, contracts, and construction practices.
