As the compensation manager, you will participates in the design, development and implementation of compensation-related projects and ongoing processes in support of business goals. You will provide data analytics, data management and reporting support to the Total Rewards/HR leadership team on all core compensation processes. As a compensation manager you will own job structure/management, salary ranges, market data surveys, as well as key components of year-end process.
Provide comprehensive compensation support and solutions including offers, data analysis, job evaluation, and market assessment, etc. to designated client groups,
Lead the global market data survey process, from data submission to analytics and reporting.
Lead job structure/management and salary ranges, conducting review and analysis to ensure integrity of the job architecture and in support of update as needed.
Perform and document market trend research including development of salary increase budgets, promotion/adjustment budgets, etc.
Partner closely with other compensation team members to deliver year-end process including market data, salary review, incentive payout, LTI, employee communications and other related year-end activities.
Partner with other Compensation team members on implementation of core processes.
Participate in development and delivery of compensation-related communications (memos, WebEx sessions, etc.).
Align risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately as needed.
Talents Needed for Success:
7+ years of Human Resources experience in one or more of the following areas: Compensation/Total Rewards administration, HR data analysis, HR Business Partner role.
Prior experience consulting with line area clients, vendors/external advisors and members of senior management strongly preferred.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Knowledge of global compensation practices and program components (base pay, incentive and additional reward programs)
Advanced Microsoft Office skills with a high level of proficiency in Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and relationship-building skills
Ability to multi-task, operate under tight timelines, and deliver with speed and accuracy
Strong grasp of financial information.
Ability to analyze and interpret business performance metrics.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to apply critical thinking and analytical skills to identify and solve issues
Familiarity with roles/jobs performed by key DTCC business units/divisions.
Bachelor’s Degree in HR, business or related field preferred - or equivalent experience. CCP Designation and other HR certifications desirable.
