 Field Supervisor in School Counseling Position Type: Staff Position Number: 20111996 Department: College of Education & Human Devel Dept Job Summary/Basic Function: The Department of Counseling invites applications for the position of Field Supervisor of School Counselors-in-training. Candidates can make their own hours and work remotely. The basic role of the Field Supervisor is to oversee trainee hours in the field and provide feedback on three formal video-recorded observations made by trainees in their school setting Minimum Qualifications: To be a Field Supervisor, candidates must have: 1. A minimum of 3 years successful experience as a School Counselor in a PK-12 campus 2. Valid Texas Certification as School Counselor (other states may be accepted as needed) 3. Valid Field Supervisor Coaching Training (can be obtained from any TEA Region Center and online) 4. Experience in working with online adult learners and online video software. Compensation for the role is $3200 to oversee approximately 60-70 candidates in three formal observations of 45 minutes, and provide feedback and documentation to the candidate and program.
