Albright College, a liberal arts college in Reading, PA, is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist for the Student Services Center. The position acts as the initial contact by telephone and walk-in inquiries for Albright’s Financial Aid, Registrar’s, and Student Accounts Offices located in our Student Services Center. The position will assist in operations for all three offices, while providing high quality customer service to students, parents, staff and other campus constituents.
Essential Job Functions: 1. Greet and assist students, families, faculty and staff in person, via email and over the telephone. 2. Assists students with general questions regarding their financial aid documents, registrar, and student accounts. 3. Act as the Office Manager in charge of scheduling of meetings, ordering of office supplies, and distribution of office mail. 4. Provide guidance and instructions for various student systems such as Lion’s Edge, Lion Pay, FAFSA completion, Identity, and Self-Service. 5. Provide guidance and instructions for various student functions such as bill payment, FAFSA completion, hold clearance, registration, transcript/verification ordering, and other student processes. 6. Manage outgoing mailings for Student Accounts, Registrar, and Financial Aid with precision and accuracy. 7. Manage Student Accounts and Financial Aid office filing system. 8. Assist with the monthly Perkins servicing requirements. 9. Assist with the distribution of refund checks. 10. Oversee the updates in the Financial Aid and Student Accounts websites and outside scholarship portfolio. 11. Assist the counselor with overseeing the student workers. 12. Assist with presentations on campus. 13. Other tasks as defined by Director of Financial Aid, the College Registrar and Director of Student Accounts.
