1. Increase the outreach, recruitment and matriculation of students, especially those from backgrounds traditionally underrepresented. Plan and execute recruiting events and activities, both in-person and virtual, aimed at underrepresented populations. 2. Support programs in delivering student services that are attentive to the needs and promote the academic success of underrepresented minority students. 3. Acts as the Title IX Coordinator and the Diversity Inclusion Coordinator. 4. Stay current on document policies, laws and legal matters that relate to diversity recruitment. 5. Work with admissions to develop and implement effective communication strategies, web and interactive media, and marketing and promotional collateral materials for recruiting and community building. Ensure that the key messages with respect to diversity initiatives are appropriately positioned and integrated and that the specific needs of diverse audiences are considered and met. 6. Represents the school on committees. 7. Manages projects and initiatives upon request. 8. May perform other duties as assigned.
