This position is a remote position residing in the Indiana or Ohio area, and is responsible for developing market share for VLS Specialty Micronutrients (SM) products in the Northeastern US, Eastern Cornbelt and Eastern Canadian geography. Key emphasis will be in the development, service and training of wholesale/distributor reps and retailer/dealer staff and in promoting MicroSync products for VLS Specialty Micronutrient products (MicroSync) in the established geography. Position may also be responsible for future product or service offerings that may be introduced. This individual is responsible for working/coordinating sales efforts with the Northeast and Eastern Canada NUE Account Managers in growing and maintaining existing wholesale and retail MicroSync customers in assigned Northeastern sales geography. Effective management of a regional territory to ensure that a high percentage of work effort and time is spent in actual selling activities from prospecting, face-to-face sales calls, customer visits and other activities to ensure the achievement of established revenue objectives.
Management and achievement of the established revenue and expense budgets to achieve desired P&L.
Meet or exceed both the sales revenue and profits margin objectives.
Responsible for coordinating all sales activities in promoting VLS Specialty Micronutrients, specifically targeting MicroSync products.
Develop clientele base of customers, dealers, and clients in coordination with Verdesian Nutrient Use Efficiency Sales Team.
Anticipate customer needs and contact regularly with appropriate communication.
Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to actively solicit new business from targeted markets, industries and key accounts, including, required sales activities necessary to achieve the product and service objectives and revenue goals.
Support and train VLS Account Managers and target dealers/customers on VLS SM product portfolio.
Increase market awareness and drive sales to attain maximum market penetration for appropriate VLS SM products.

Help manage research trials including prepared budgets, protocols, write ups or publications
Minimum work experience of 5 years full time exempt sales experience in Agriculture industry
Minimum education of BA or BS degree in Agriculture related field
