Operations Manager/Cal-SOAP Program California State University, San Bernardino
Overview Employment Status: Temporary, full-time, Salary: $4,990 - $5,583 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. A comprehensive benefits package is provided. Deadline: Open until filled, but will review applications by July 24, 2020. Preferred Qualifications:
A Master's Degree in Education, Counseling, or Higher Education is preferred.
Applicants that have experience in overcoming barriers similar to those of Cal-SOAP students are desirable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Applicants should have successful experience developing, managing, and implementing the delivery of support services to middle and high schools.
Applicants must have strong organizational, management, leadership, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Applicants must have a high level of knowledge of educational grant-funded programs and federal and state grant regulations and their requirements.
Applicants must have the ability to analyze problems and resolve conflicts, to do long-range planning and develop implementation procedures, to establish rapport and positive working relationships with campus departments, faculty members, administrators, teachers, counselors, outreach staff, student and family participants and other partners and to articulate the goals of the project to campus and community members in order to generate support for the objectives and ideals of Cal-SOAP.
Applicants must have the ability to travel to and from various school and community-based sites throughout San Bernardino County as needed.
