Job Title: Training Program Coordinator (2 positions)
School of Agriculture, Fertilizers and Environmental Sciences at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) recruits a Training Program Coordinator for a full-time position.
The successful applicant will plan, organize, evaluate, coordinate, and manage assigned educational program for the school, to support the new activities of ESAFE.
The incumbent will be encouraged to work with current university’s professors in related fields including agronomy, pedology, soil fertility and phytochemistry, fertilizer science, irrigation water management, microbiology, and others. In addition, experience, and a desire to work with diverse stakeholders is expected.
Ability to engage professionally with a diverse population internally and externally is required.
Evidence of teaching and research excellence are expected. Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
Interest and ability to contribute to interdisciplinary teaching collaborations in one or more areas central to the UM6P Agricultural Sciences strategic plan is expected.
Successful candidates are expected to:
Develop long-range educational program plans.
Plan the scheduling of events and delivery of services to achieve program goals.
Collect data and/or conduct surveys on all areas of program activities for evaluation of program effectiveness.
Provide direct liaison with educational personnel associated with other agricultural schools, state, and community agencies, to develop program linkages, support and referral systems.
Provide counsel to the school, staff and students on policies, procedures, and services.
Develop, design, write and edit brochures, reports and other educational materials for publication and distribution.
Develop and establish policies/procedures for implementation as applicable to the program.
Organize and/or attend seminars and workshops.
Supervise, train, evaluate, schedule work, and determine priorities for assigned personnel.
Respond to and resolve problems of program participants through vocational, career and academic counseling.
Collect data for program progress and/or statistical reports for concerned college/university administrators, counselors and/or faculty.
Maintain necessary records/files on program.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Criteria of the candidate:
PhD degree, preferably in education or agriculture sciences, and seven years’ experience in counseling and/or related work in planning, organizing and evaluating educational programs administrative ability.
Human relations and communications skills.
Familiarity with Moroccan educational organizations.
Strong experience in coordinating programs and supervising students
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language.
Operate effectively within teams and working groups, participates in problem solving and works collaboratively to achieve goals.
Organizational dexterity, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
Maintains positive attitude in changing fast-paced environments
