Patrick Henry Community College (PHCC) is a comprehensive two-year college of the Virginia Community College System, serving the City of Martinsville and the counties of Henry and Patrick. PHCC serves approximately 3,500 credit and almost 2,700 non-credit students annually and, consistently ranks among the top ten âMost Tech-Savvyâ community colleges in the country by the Center for Digital Education. It is one of the nationâs 82 âAchieving the Dreamâ Leader Colleges. The college offers transfer programs, in addition to career-track and certification programs, and serves more than 200 employers through workforce development. It is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Position Summary: PHCC is seeking a full-time 9-month nursing instructor. Instructional assignments include classroom, laboratory, and the clinical setting. Full-time faculty are required to teach 12-15 credit hours per semester and may be required to teach various courses within the designated discipline/field of study. Full-time faculty members also will serve as faculty advisors, serve on department/division/campus/college committees, participate in curriculum development, and other responsibilities as assigned. The nursing program is an approved Virginia Board of Nursing educational program and hence complies with all Regulations for Nursing Education Programs 18 VAC 90-27-10 et seq.
