Works independently to recruit a pre-determined number of students within a defined geographical area and develops a thorough understanding of SAU's academic programs, financial aid program and student support services for effective representation to students, parents, guidance counselors, pastors, youth directors and alumni by performing the following duties. Our Admissions Representatives serve as ambassadors for Spring Arbor University by representing and sharing the story about the institution with interested parties. The primary duty of the Admissions Representative is to managing the potential student's interaction with SAU throughout the recruiting and admissions process.
Education and/ or Experience
Bachelor's degree in related field, required.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment in performing duties is necessary.
Good organizational & word processing skills necessary.
Experience with Excel spreadsheets, MS Word required.
Ability to prioritize, complete multiple tasks & possess good interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
Experience working in sales and/or with high school students helpful.
Must be willing to travel, and work evenings and weekends.
