The Residence Advisors (RAs) act as an extension of the Office of Housing Services in providing management of The Georgian Building and Bard Hall, Towers 1,2 ,3, 154 Haven and 390 Fort Washington. RA's act on the Housing Office's behalf during non-business hours and weekends. The RA's work closely with the Officers and Staff of the Housing Office and the Faculty in Residence.
To maintain Student Casual status, requires current registration as a full-time student at Columbia University Medical Center.
This position requires availability for duty at all times and the requirement to live in housing provided by the University in order to perform the functions of the job; i.e. provide immediate and appropriate responses to campus operational emergencies
Preferred that the applicant has lived in Columbia Housing for at least one year.
Preferred that the applicant has completed one year of studies at the Medical Center Campus.
